Pitty Love Rescue is returning to VegFest!
Based in Rochester, their primary focus is to find responsible homes for the dogs in their care and provide lifelong support to the dogs’ new families, but they also work on advocacy, information sharing, and community outreach, routinely working with the under-served portion of our community to help keep dogs in homes by providing necessary resources. That includes low cost spay/neuter, vetting assistance, training assistance, help with food, and collaboration to acquire affordable, non-discriminatory housing.
We welcome CBD by Serenity to VegFest!
Serenity will be selling organic vegan CBD products.
Guglielmo’s Home Grown Marinara Sauce is coming to VegFest! They will be selling their famous marinara and offering free samples! Their sauces are available online and in many, many stores and restaurants around Rochester and the Northeast.
Off Leash Apparel is returning to VegFest! This vegan-owned local business’ main focus is on animal rescue, adoption and liberation. They donate 10% of profits to local animal shelters and rescues in the area, and another 10% to national animal organizations including Operation Glass Walls and In Defense of Animals.
We have just opened our exhibitor applications and are happy to announce that Superieur Electrolytes will be returning to VegFest! They’ll be selling their Superieur Electrolytes Powdered Drink Mix and offering free samples to drink.
They don’t use acidic mixing agents, sugar, dyes or preservatives. They don’t add any color, don’t use sugar and do use real sea and plant minerals like pink Himalayan sea salt.
You probably know that Rochester Vegfest is a project of two local organizations, Animal Rights Rochester and the Rochester Area Vegan Society. But did you know they both have big anniversaries this year?
ARRoc was formed as “Animal Rights Advocates of Upstate, NY” (ARAUNY) by a small group of upstanders in 1989! Another group was busy forming the “Rochester Area Vegetarian Society” that same year. New names, same great organizations. We’re both 30!
Thank you to Bob Morgan and iHeart Media for hooking us up with thousands of dollars worth of free radio ads on the Rochester airwaves – you helped us pack that park!
