By participating in this contest, you acknowledge and agree that rights to the winning design will belong to Animal Rights Rochester (ARROC). By submitting your design, you grant ARROC the rights to use, reproduce, and distribute the winning design on tee shirts to be worn by volunteers and sold at the festival. Rochester VegFest is a joint project of ARROC and RAVS. All proceeds from the sale of these tee shirts will directly support the mission and activities of the organizations.

Teeminder tells us “We design and sell eco-designer wear (T-shirts, tanks, tops, dresses, scarfs) made with certified 100% Organic Fair Trade Cotton. So yes, they are made Ethically. We do our designing in-house and our screen printing is done using water-based eco-friendly inks. We support the health and livelihood of organic cotton farmers and the garment workers in the farms and garment factories; especially in developing countries. We say NO to GMOs and pesticides seeping into our skin through our pores. We promote sustainable farming practices that produce less greenhouse gas emissions and work to combat climate change. Our work is influenced by our yoga/vegan lifestyle and our brand is specifically geared towards supporting sustainable manufacturing & social responsibility.”

Off Leash Apparel is returning to VegFest! This vegan-owned local business’ main focus is on animal rescue, adoption and liberation. They donate 10% of profits to local animal shelters and rescues in the area, and another 10% to national animal organizations including Operation Glass Walls and In Defense of Animals.
