Vegan Rob’s

The Rochester VegFest welcomes Vegan Rob’s as one of its newest in-kind sponsors. We are happy to announce that Vegan Rob’s will be donating various goodies to the event again this year.  Look for them in the SWAG bags available to the first 100 people to give a $3 or more entry donation.

Vegan Rob’s is a line of vegan snack foods.  As they say, “Love yourself, our planet, and all living things.”  Many thanks to Vegan Rob’s!

GreenSpark Solar

Thank you to our Silver Sponsor and exhibitor GreenSpark Solar!  Previously known as SunCommon, GreenSpark will be bringing their solar-powered charging station to VegFest so you can charge all your devices up sustainably!

GreenSpark, a Certified B Corporation, helps people put solar cells on their home’s roof, and if that isn’t practical for someone, they also sell solar energy from a local solar farm at prices competitive to conventional suppliers.

They’ll also make a donation to VegFest for every customer who mentions Rochester VegFest when they apply, or who apply after signing up for more information at the festival.  So tell them we sent you!

What the Health 3/17

Rochester VegFest is sponsoring a free screening of What the Health on March 17th at 7 pm at Lutheran Church of the Reformation, 111 N. Chestnut Street, Rochester, NY 14604.

What the Health  exposes the collusion and corruption in government and big business that is costing us trillions of healthcare dollars, and keeping us sick.

What The Health is a surprising, and at times hilarious, investigative documentary that will be an eye-opener for everyone concerned about our nation’s health and how big business influences it.

Dr. Milton Mills will hold a Q&A after the film, and local organizations will be on hand before and after the program to offer information on how to move forward with a vegan diet!

Roc VLP

Animal Rights Rochester is introducing an exciting new free program to help support potential vegans.  The Vegan Living Program brings people interested in going vegan together with an experienced vegan coach for a five week program that meets at Rochester Vegan Community Center.

Would you like support to go vegan, or do you know someone else who might?  We are currently accepting Pledge applications for our first session.

If you’ve been vegan for a year, would you like to be a Coach?  Or would you like to volunteer at the meetings or some other way?  Do you know someone who would like to be a vegan Pledge?  Would you like to donate to help support this free program, and send someone to vegan camp?

Details on the program and the upcoming session are here.  Thank you for your support!
