We’re glad that Citizen’s Climate Lobby will be bringing their message to VegFest again this year. They are a lobbying group attempting to get the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act passed in congress. It is a carbon fee bill that will greatly reduce carbon emissions and help in mitigating climate change and its devastating effects.

Monroe County Votes for Animals
Monroe County Votes for Animals is a grassroots, nonpartisan, unaffiliated and all-volunteer organization dedicated to promoting laws that are beneficial to animals.
They lead a voting bloc (an organized group of voters who care about a particular issue) of Monroe County, N.Y. residents who care about animals and would like to hear their endorsements. They work to promote animal-friendly legislation and stop legislation that hurts animals. They currently focus on our local government: Monroe County, its towns, and the city of Rochester, N.Y.
