Thank you to Balsam Bagels for donating two $20 gift cards to our VegFest raffle!
Balsam was the first restaurant to work with VegFest, in 2017, to create a vegan menu for what became our Roc Vegan Guide. “More than just bagels,” they are open for breakfast and lunch on Winton Road North, and have many vegan options.
Food Not Bombs will be at Rochester VegFest! They recover and share free meals in our local community.
They will be accepting donations of nonperishable vegan food items at their table. Stop by and talk to these hard-working volunteers!
We are super excited to have received a donation of 48 chocolate bars from Go Max Go Foods! These are those amazing bars like Mahala.
Try one when you win it as a prize at the Kids’ Area or this year’s new Teen Tent!
Thank you to Chicago Vegan Foods for sending us 200 sample packs of Dandies vegan marshmallows!
I bet you thought we couldn’t cram anything more into those SWAG bags but our donation coordinator Martha was undaunted by the challenge. The remaining bags of marshmallows will be handed out as prizes around the festival, so try out the Feed-a-Vegan beanbag toss or check out the games at the new Teen Tent!
Thank you to Misfit Doughnuts and Treats for the donation to our raffle, a $25 gift card and a t-shirt!
The all-vegan Misfit has reopened at 133 Gregory Street and is reportedly doing a brisk business. We are very sorry they cannot attend VegFest this year – they will certainly be missed!
We are so glad Laughing Gull Chocolates will have a booth at VegFest this year!
They sell ethically-sourced artisan chocolates that are made in their shop on East Main St. and have many vegan options available including most of their drinks, select truffles, dipped fruits and chocolate bark. They also run chocolate making workshops that can be done with vegan ingredients.
Thank you to our in-kind sponsor Nature’s Path for donating their Que Pasa brand vegan & organic tortilla chips to include in our SWAG bags. Our volunteer tells us these are big bags that barely fit in the SWAG bags!
We are so excited to welcome Flour City Nut Grind to VegFest! They will be selling their artisanal vegan cheeses and maybe some sauces.
