Allah’s Kitchen has gone 100% vegan!
Here is their Happy Cow entry.
Thank you so much to Andrea at The Red Fern for the generous donation after VegFest! The Red Fern has been a steadfast supporter of our programs from the beginning.

Ah, it’s that happy time of year when we get to express our gratitude to everyone who helped make Rochester VegFest possible. Here you see the large community that comes together to pull off this tremendous feat. ♥
We want to start with big thank-you’s to Kim for being our treasurer and RAVS rep again, as well as staffing the VegFest booth all day, and to Darren for continuing to be our carpenter, welder, and all-around go-getter. Thank you to Beth for publicizing VegFest in print media. Thank you to Bob F for coordinating our volunteers – this is a big complicated job!
Thanks to Kim for tabling on behalf of VegFest at the Harvest Fest at Lori‘s Saturday, and thank you to our sponsor Lori’s for inviting us! Kim said she had lots of good conversations with attendees.
Thank you again to Marisa Poselovich of Sweet Image Photography for taking photos all day at Rochester VegFest 2019 and sharing them freely.
What a gift that we can have these shared memories, and that we didn’t have to worry about taking a lot of photos.
Below is the second batch. See the first here.

We’re pumped that RIT’s Vegan Club is coming to VegFest again!
They meet bi-weekly to discuss vegan/sustainably minded events in the RIT and Rochester communities, tips on being vegan or how to go vegan, recipes, and other topics relating to animal rights, health, and the environment.
Sweet Pea Plant-Based Kitchen will be at Rochester VegFest! They offer nutritious plant-based heat-and-eat meals, and have a 10-Day Plant-Based Challenge beginning Monday after VegFest!
At their booth they will be selling their vegan burgers, vegan beet balls with marinara, gazpacho, granola bars, and cookie dough, and offering samples.
Elmhurst 1925 is returning to Rochester VegFest, bringing their plant-based beverages!
They used to milk cows, but now they only milk plants!
Come try samples of their products next Saturday!
