Another successful VegFest, thanks to the many, many people who donated their valuable time!
We want to give big thank-you’s to Kim for being our treasurer and RAVS rep again, Darren for continuing to be our carpenter, welder, and all-around go-getter, and Jessica for jumping in with both feet to be our donor coordinator and drive-around-towner. In addition to taking on those big jobs, they took on numerous small jobs that needed to be done. “I can do that!” All three also helped stuff the SWAG bags, helped at the Friday dinner and worked tirelessly from dawn to dusk at VegFest.
Thank you again to Marisa Poselovich of Sweet Image Photography for taking photos all day at Rochester VegFest 2018 and sharing them freely.
What a gift that we can have these shared memories, and that we didn’t have to worry about taking a lot of photos.
Below is the first batch she has sent us, from setup into the first hours. For the second (final) batch click here.
Many thanks for Laughing Gull Chocolates’ raffle basket donation sliding over the plate for a photo finish into our big raffle Saturday!
They sell ethically-sourced artisan chocolates that are made in their shop on East Main St. and have many vegan options available including all their drinks, select truffles, dipped fruits and bark.
The basket contained some of their products and a certificate for a chocolate making workshop (where you can create vegan chocolate ganache in a variety of flavors!).
Many thanks to our sponsor PanoGraphics for all the layout work they donated for our VegFest print projects – they are beautiful!
We’re happy that Shawn O Photo will be offering photo strips at VegFest!
We’re so happy Wuxly Movement is coming to VegFest!
Wuxly Movement, formerly Wully Outerwear, is an ethical lifestyle brand that designs and manufactures Canadian-made outerwear. Born from a love of wildlife and a vision of warm, animal-free alternatives, Wuxly does all this while spearheading a progressive Movement.
Here’s what!
Wow!
We’re sorry that DC VegFest had to cancel due to Hurricane Florence… but we are glad one of their vendors decided to come to Rochester VegFest!
Welcome to Goods & Evil Vegan Clothing!
We packed the SWAG bags Monday, filled with goodies from sponsors and donors!
No cat included, but we will be adding a cold can of Zevia, a shelf-stable bottle of Good Karma flax milk, and a little something from Lori’s Natural Foods!
Pictured donors are:
We are so grateful for these donors for helping make VegFest awesome – and thank you to volunteers Bubbie, Kim, Jessica, Darren, and Tina for putting together the bags!
Be one of the first 100 attendees to donate $3 or more at the festival, and you’ll receive a free SWAG bag in addition to your free raffle ticket!
